Instructions for AuthorsAuthor guidelines On this page you can find instructions and templates for preparing your manuscript for Surveillance 9. A digital version of your final manuscript should be submitted online on the Submit Full Text section of the conference website before April 15, 2017. The full conference proceedings will be only published electronically. However, a book of abstracts will be included in the conference kit and will be distributed to the participants. Please write and format your full length paper according to the guidelines below and note that your paper will not be published unless it complies with the requirements.. The length of the final manuscript is not limited in terms of number of pages.
Abstracts Formatting and Templates
The one-page abstract (2000 ch. max) should be written in English and prepared as a one-page, A4 PDF file (size 210 x 297 mm) using the Times font, 18 pt for the title, 12 pt for the authors' names and affiliations, and 11 pt for the text.
The left, right, top and bottom margins should all be 1.5 cm. Please do not exceed these limits, or your PDF file will not be accepted. Equations are discouraged but mathematical symbols, like x(t), are tolerated. The authors should also check there should be no headers/footers/page numbers.
It is strongly recommended to use the LaTeX and MS Word templates provided below in order to ensure the correct formatting.
